Yays! This is the profile for my OC Mirabelle, she doesn't really have a last name, but her backstory which will be posted in fanfic form is as follows:

Mirabelle was raised by her grandfather an accomplished scientist in genetics and engineering. While under his care he was enlisted to do research on animals in finding cures for certain diseases. Mirabelle herself was diagnosed with Leukemia at age 3. Her grandfather devoted part of his studies into finding a cure for her. One of the chemicals he had been given to work with only under strict circumstances was mutagen. Using this was the only way he could find a cure for her.

On the day he administered it to her, he had warned her not to touch any of the other animals in the room that day. Mirabelle only five, who had been in charge of the feeding some of them simply forgot about his warning and decided to pet one of the lab’s box turtles. Her mutation caused her to black out and reawaken as who she is today.

In the next few days, her grandfather's project had been scrapped because of the dangerous effects of the mutagen. He had to keep Mirabelle hidden, and covered for her saying she died from consuming a poisonous chemical. He tried to find a cure but the effects on the test animals were fatal. Eventually he left that organization to work in a smaller independent company developing alternative fuel sources.

When Mirabelle was about 10 years old, her grandfather had fallen ill and was unable to do his studies any longer. Mirabelle had tried to take care of him but a few months later he passed away. He left Mirabelle his ring and the security code to his computer. Only one other person knew about her. Another scientist by the name Arthur Steele, after her grandfather’s death, he had been entrusted with hiding Mirabelle until she was old enough to take care of herself. He had been nice at first but once he knew she had those codes he became very cruel, stopping it nothing until he could get her to tell them what the main one was which would allow him to gain all of her grandfather’s research. Mirabelle finally escaped one day and ran until she hit the streets of Manhattan. There it was only a matter of time before she met the tmnt who would come to rescue her once she had been found again by the Doctor’s minions.
